About TEEN Communications
Check it out
Teen Communications is a national non-profit on a mission to help Canadian teens, tweens, and young adults navigate the tough stuff. We team up with government, schools, student leaders, the pubic sector, reserves, Inuit & Indigenous leaders & communities. With straight talk, we tackle the heavy stuff, such as the real risks of drugs, alcohol, and impaired driving. We also tackle other real teen issues such as suicide, abuse & trauma, gambling, teen sexuality, responsible gambling, and fetal alcohol syndrome.
Our secret weapons? Edutainment. We mix entertainment with education to keep things fun, real, and useful, and all our assemblies, presentations, conferences, and workshops are culturally sensitive.
What we're about:
- Keeping it real: Real facts about substance abuse, zero judgment.
- Healthy minds and bodies: Giving young people the facts on substance abuse so they can create their own reality.
- Staying safe: Convincing young people they are not indestructible.
- Owning your future: Helping young people make healthy, positive choices so they can crush their goals.
- Living your best life: Creating cool ways to help build a bright, positive future.
